Description

A simple and flavorful slow-cooked chicken dish infused with zesty ranch flavor, perfect for busy evenings.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the chicken.
  3. Pour the chicken broth around the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, add the cream cheese and let it melt into the mixture.
  6. Before serving, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.

Notes

Using frozen chicken breasts? Increase cooking time slightly. For added nutrition, toss in vegetables like carrots or potatoes at the beginning.
