Ingredients
- 5 medium chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 ounce dry ranch seasoning (approximately 2 tablespoons)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Cooking spray (for prepping the baking sheet)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and lightly spray it with cooking oil.
- Prepare the chicken by patting the thighs dry with paper towels.
- Make the spice mix by combining baking powder, ranch seasoning, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
- Season the chicken evenly with the spice mixture.
- Arrange the seasoned thighs on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side up, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 30–40 minutes, checking that the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Baste with pan juices and serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mix for at least an hour. Use a convection setting for even crispier results.
