Description

Crispy, flavorful ranch chicken thighs that are easy to prepare and make for a satisfying dinner experience.

Ingredients

  • 5 medium chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 ounce dry ranch seasoning (approximately 2 tablespoons)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Cooking spray (for prepping the baking sheet)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and lightly spray it with cooking oil.
  2. Prepare the chicken by patting the thighs dry with paper towels.
  3. Make the spice mix by combining baking powder, ranch seasoning, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
  4. Season the chicken evenly with the spice mixture.
  5. Arrange the seasoned thighs on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side up, leaving space between each.
  6. Bake for 30–40 minutes, checking that the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Baste with pan juices and serve hot with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mix for at least an hour. Use a convection setting for even crispier results.
