Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large bowl.
  3. Place the chicken in a roasting pan and season it with salt, pepper, and balsamic glaze.
  4. Arrange the Brussels sprouts around the chicken in the pan.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) internally.
