Ingredients
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
- Pour in the chicken broth and diced tomatoes, and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the fresh spinach and Italian seasoning, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
For a creamier texture, consider adding a splash of heavy cream before serving. Adjust seasoning to taste and feel free to add crushed red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
