Ingredients
- 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup bang bang sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Mix kosher salt, black pepper, and paprika in a small bowl.
- Coat the chicken thighs evenly with the seasoning mix.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and add vegetable oil.
- Sear the chicken thighs for about 5 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove chicken from skillet and let rest on a plate.
- Add bang bang sauce to the skillet, scraping up brown bits and simmering for 1-2 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet and coat with sauce, garnishing with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For more heat, consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper to the seasoning mix. Allowing chicken to rest before serving helps improve juiciness.
