Description

A comforting Slow Cooker Chicken Parmesan that combines tender chicken, rich marinara sauce, and gooey cheese, perfect for family dinners or quick weeknight meals.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Pasta, for serving
  • Garlic bread, for serving
  • Fresh salad, for serving


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Place the chicken in the slow cooker and cover with marinara sauce.
  3. Cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or on high for 240 minutes (4 hours) until the chicken is tender.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese on top of the chicken.
  5. Cover and let the cheese melt.
  6. Serve over cooked pasta, with garlic bread and a fresh salad on the side.
