Description

A comforting dish of tender chicken breasts smothered in a rich, creamy sauce filled with aromatic spices.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken and sauté until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side, then remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. Toss in the sliced onion and cook until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, then add heavy cream and mix.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the gravy over it, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For variations, consider adding bell peppers or mushrooms. If sauce is too thin, simmer uncovered to reduce; if too thick, add more broth or cream.
