Description

A comforting Southern Chicken Spaghetti Casserole that combines creamy flavors, tender chicken, and cheesy goodness over a bed of spaghetti, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked spaghetti
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and bell pepper until they soften.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cooked spaghetti, shredded chicken, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, chicken broth, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Add the sautéed vegetables to the mixture and combine everything thoroughly.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, smoothing it into an even layer.
  6. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
