Ingredients

  • 8 oz large pasta shells (225 g)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (280 g)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce (240 ml)
  • 2 tablespoon s butter (28 g)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (100 g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) cayenne pepper (optional )
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (100 g)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (25 g)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (15 g)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine.
  6. Add grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  7. Stir the sauce until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  8. Add the shredded chicken to the skillet and pour in the buffalo sauce.
  9. Stir to coat the chicken evenly with the sauce.
  10. Fill each cooked pasta shell with the buffalo chicken mixture.
  11. Place the filled shells in a single layer in a baking dish.
  12. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the shells.
  13. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  14. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  15. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
