Description

Crispy, tender chicken wings coated in a spicy blend of seasonings and sauces, perfect for gatherings and game nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken wings or wingettes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon kick’n chicken seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne powder
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce (sriracha)
  • 1-2 teaspoons chili flakes (for extra heat)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1.5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons parsley (chopped) or green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine chicken wings, garlic powder, black pepper, Italian seasoning, chili flakes, kick’n chicken seasoning, cayenne powder, mustard, baking powder, and corn starch. Toss to coat.
  3. Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. While wings bake, heat olive oil and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add ketchup, chili sauce, chili flakes, honey, and soy sauce to the saucepan and simmer until thickened.
  6. Once wings are golden and crispy, toss them in the prepared sauce until well-coated.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra heat, adjust the amount of cayenne and chili flakes. Double-baking the wings adds extra crispiness.
