Description

Crispy fried chicken coated in a spicy jalapeno sauce that blends heat and sweetness for an unforgettable meal.

Ingredients

  • Chicken pieces (drumsticks, thighs, or breast)
  • Chopped jalapenos
  • Flour
  • Cornstarch
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • Soy sauce
  • Honey or sugar
  • Minced garlic
  • Minced ginger
  • Water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Dredge chicken pieces in the mixture to coat them thoroughly.
  2. Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. In a separate saucepan, combine chopped jalapenos, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and water to make the sauce. Cook on medium heat until it thickens slightly.
  4. Toss the crispy fried chicken in the spicy sauce, making sure it is coated well.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy your spicy jalapeno chicken!

Notes

For extra crunch, let the coated chicken rest before frying. Adjust jalapeno quantity for heat preference.
