Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice (30 milliliters)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt (5 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper (1 gram)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika (2 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) cayenne pepper (1 gram)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) chili powder (2 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey (15 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) soy sauce (15 milliliters)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) lemon zest (2 grams)
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, and chili powder.
  3. Add honey, soy sauce, and lemon zest to the bowl, and mix well to form a marinade.
  4. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  5. Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss until fully coated.
  6. Cover and let the chicken wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
