Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds (680 g) chicken wings (680 grams)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil (30 milliliters)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice (30 milliliters)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt (5 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) black pepper (1 gram)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika (2 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) cayenne pepper (1 gram)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) chili powder (2 grams)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey (15 grams)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) soy sauce (15 milliliters)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) lemon zest (2 grams)
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, and chili powder.
- Add honey, soy sauce, and lemon zest to the bowl, and mix well to form a marinade.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
- Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss until fully coated.
- Cover and let the chicken wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Arrange the marinated chicken wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Check that the wings are cooked through and have a crispy exterior.
- Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
