Description

A deliciously hearty casserole combining chicken, pasta, and sharp cheddar cheese with zesty spices for a flavorful family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a large casserole dish.
  3. Cook the chicken in a large pot over medium heat for 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through.
  4. Boil salted water and cook the spaghetti until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  5. Shred the cooked chicken.
  6. In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cooked spaghetti, cream of chicken soup, bell pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and half of the cheddar cheese. Stir to combine.
  7. Transfer mixture to the greased casserole dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra creaminess, consider adding sour cream or cream cheese. Adjust spices to taste to suit your preference.
