Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1 1/4 cups fresh spinach (finely chopped)
- 3/4 cup feta cheese (crumbled)
- 1 large sweet onion (grated)
- 1 egg (whisked)
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, finely chopped spinach, crumbled feta cheese, grated onion, whisked egg, minced garlic, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Gently mix everything together until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Shape the mixture into burger patties, aiming for about 4-6 per pound of turkey.
- Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
- Cook the burgers for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Remove from heat and allow them to rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
