Description

A quick and delicious family favorite, these sticky chicken rice bowls combine tender chicken, savory sauces, and fluffy rice for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to create the sauce.
  2. In a skillet, heat a bit of oil over medium heat and add the diced chicken. Cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Serve the sticky chicken over cooked rice, and top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
