Description

A comforting and flavorful dish combining tender chicken thighs, fluffy rice, and a sticky honey-soy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked rice
  • 1 pound of chicken thighs, diced
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, and ginger to create the sauce.
  2. In a pan, heat some oil over medium heat and cook the diced chicken until browned and cooked through.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir well to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Serve the sticky chicken over cooked rice.
  5. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!

Notes

For deeper flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking. You can add vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas for extra nutrition.
