Description

A delightful dish featuring tender chicken and chewy noodles coated in a sticky, garlicky sauce, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 8 oz noodles (rice or egg noodles)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes in a bowl to create the sauce.
  2. Coat chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly covered.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-8 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken, stirring to coat. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  7. Combine cooked noodles with the chicken and sauce, mixing well.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Allowing the sauce to simmer enhances its richness.
