Description

A savory-sweet dish featuring boneless chicken thighs cooked to perfection in a sticky honey gochujang glaze.

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless chicken thighs (skin on)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, grated
  • 3 stalks of green onions (white and green parts separated)
  • 2 tbsp gochujang paste
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Debone the chicken thighs if necessary, ensuring the skin remains intact.
  2. Prepare the marinade by combining garlic, gochujang, honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  3. Mix in the chopped white parts of green onions for extra flavor.
  4. Marinate the chicken by placing thighs in a bag or dish, pouring the marinade over, and refrigerating for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Cook the chicken using grilling, baking, or pan-frying methods until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the skin is crispy.

Notes

Adjust the level of spice by modifying gochujang or honey. Let the chicken rest after cooking for best results.
