Description

Deliciously sticky sweet chili chicken thighs cooked to crispy perfection in an air fryer, ideal for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel.
  3. Season with avocado oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Air fry the chicken skin side down for 15 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and oyster sauce for the glaze.
  6. Baste the chicken with the glaze a few times while cooking.
  7. Cook for an additional 10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
  9. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
