Deliciously sticky sweet chili chicken thighs cooked to crispy perfection in an air fryer, ideal for family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 8 bone-in chicken thighs
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ cup sweet chili sauce
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel.
- Season with avocado oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Air fry the chicken skin side down for 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and oyster sauce for the glaze.
- Baste the chicken with the glaze a few times while cooking.
- Cook for an additional 10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
