A delicious blend of chicken thighs marinated in savory teriyaki sauce and grilled with fresh pineapple for a sweet and savory treat.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken thighs
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, olive oil, garlic, and ginger. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and let them soak for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best flavor.
- Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- In the last few minutes of cooking, add the pineapple chunks to the grill or skillet to caramelize them slightly.
- Serve the chicken topped with the grilled pineapple, chopped green onions, and sesame seeds.
