Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup sweet and sour sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Dredge chicken pieces in cornstarch, then dip in beaten eggs.
- Fry the chicken in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the chicken and set aside.
- Sauté bell pepper and onion in the same pan until tender.
- Add sweet and sour sauce and bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the pan, coating it in the sauce.
