Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, and cornstarch to create the sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add diced chicken breast and cook until browned.
- Add onion and bell pepper, cooking until tender.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, adding the pineapple chunks.
- Simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
