Delicious teriyaki chicken marinated in a savory and sweet sauce, perfect for weeknight meals or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup honey
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
- Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the hoisin sauce, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, ground ginger, and crushed red pepper.
- Season the chicken thighs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Marinate the chicken in the sauce mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and glazed.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For the best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. To enhance the glaze, simmer leftover marinade until it thickens.
