Description

Delicious teriyaki chicken marinated in a savory and sweet sauce, perfect for weeknight meals or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika to taste
  • Green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the hoisin sauce, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, ground ginger, and crushed red pepper.
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Marinate the chicken in the sauce mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the chicken for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and glazed.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. To enhance the glaze, simmer leftover marinade until it thickens.
