Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Sliced green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger to make the teriyaki sauce.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides, about 6-8 minutes per side.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water, then add to the skillet to thicken the sauce.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
- Serve the chicken topped with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
