Ingredients
- 4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 cloves Fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup Shredded jack cheese
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup Low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear them for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Add minced garlic and paprika to the skillet and stir for about one minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and low-sodium chicken broth, allowing it to simmer gently while scraping any brown bits from the skillet.
- Top each chicken breast with shredded jack cheese, then transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
