Description

Tender chicken breasts smothered in a creamy, buttery sauce and topped with melted jack cheese, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves Fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Shredded jack cheese
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear them for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Add minced garlic and paprika to the skillet and stir for about one minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and low-sodium chicken broth, allowing it to simmer gently while scraping any brown bits from the skillet.
  6. Top each chicken breast with shredded jack cheese, then transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  7. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Consider adding a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for added brightness. Pair with a fresh green salad or roasted potatoes.
