Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon chili sauce (optional)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, garlic, ginger, and chili sauce.
- Place the chicken thighs in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off.
- Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
- Grill the chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and enjoy!
Notes
For faster marination, make shallow slashes in the chicken. Leftover marinade can be boiled and used as a dipping sauce.
