Description

A comforting and delicious dish featuring twisted pasta, tender chicken, and a creamy honey garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt and black pepper.
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, then add the chicken. Cook for about 5–6 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Lower the heat to medium and add the remaining tablespoon of butter along with the minced garlic in the same skillet. Sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the honey and soy sauce, allowing it to cook until bubbling.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, letting it simmer for 2–3 minutes until well coated and glossy.
  6. Cook the rotini in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, reserving 1 cup of the pasta water before draining.
  7. Warm the heavy cream in another pan over medium-low heat. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until smooth, adding reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
  8. Toss the cooked rotini in the Parmesan sauce until fully coated.
  9. Plate the pasta, topping it with the honey garlic chicken.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

Use high-quality honey and soy sauce for the best flavor. You can prepare ingredients in advance to save time.
