Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for baking
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, ensuring an even coating.
- Dip the floured chicken into the beaten eggs.
- Coat the chicken with breadcrumbs, pressing slightly to adhere.
- Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet drizzled with olive oil.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until crispy and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and top each piece with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
