Description

Perfectly crispy baked chicken wings that are easy to make and packed with flavor, ideal for any gathering or cozy night in.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 pounds chicken wings and/or drumettes
  • 2 egg whites, beaten until frothy
  • ½ cup hot wing sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a metal cooling rack on top, spraying it with non-stick spray.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large bowl, combine kosher salt, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, onion powder, and black pepper. Add the chicken wings and toss to coat.
  4. Beat the egg whites until frothy and pour them over the seasoned wings, mixing thoroughly.
  5. Place the wings skin-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 45-60 minutes until golden brown and an internal temperature of 165°F is reached.
  7. Transfer wings to a bowl and toss with hot wing sauce.
  8. Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing and vegetable sticks.
