Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup sharp white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Burger buns
- Toppings (lettuce, tomato, etc.)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded cheddar, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked through.
- Serve on burger buns with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a spicier kick, consider adding diced jalapeños or cayenne pepper to the mixture. You can prepare patties in advance and store them in the refrigerator for a day or two before cooking.
