Description

Delicious homemade chicken burgers with white cheddar, fresh spinach, and a hint of mustard, perfect for a casual dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for cooking
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, or extra cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix gently until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Transfer the cooked patties to a plate, allowing them to rest for a few minutes.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing the patties on the buns with your favorite optional toppings.

Notes

Allow the ground chicken to sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes for easier mixing.
