Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups fresh spinach, finely chopped
- 1 cup white cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Gather all necessary ingredients. Finely chop the spinach and grate the white cheddar cheese.
- In a large bowl, mix the ground chicken, chopped spinach, grated cheese, minced garlic, panko breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into six equal patties about three-quarters of an inch thick.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Cook each patty for around six minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (75°C).
- Let the burgers rest for a few minutes before serving them.
Notes
Create a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing. Consider adding spices like paprika for extra flavor.
