Description

Juicy chicken burgers infused with fresh spinach and creamy white cheddar, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¾ cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 whole grain burger buns
  • Optional toppings: sliced tomatoes, red onion, lettuce, or avocado

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped spinach, garlic powder, onion powder, shredded cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix the ingredients until well combined; using your hands is the best way.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape each part into patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then add patties and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and internal temp reaches 165°F.
  5. Toast burger buns in a separate pan until golden.
  6. Assemble each burger with a cooked patty on the bottom half of a toasted bun and add preferred toppings before covering with the top half of the bun.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure perfect doneness. Consider marinating the chicken for enhanced flavor.
