Description

A delightful crispy chicken recipe marinated in dill pickle juice, packed with flavor from seasoned breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken breasts in dill pickle juice for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: 1 for seasoned flour, 1 for whisked eggs, and 1 for breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in the seasoned flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the chicken breasts carefully.
  5. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through (165°F/75°C).
  6. Remove from skillet and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider double-dipping the chicken in the egg wash and breadcrumbs. Serve with your favorite sides and dipping sauces.
